What is microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo that creates natural looking individual hair strokes. This semi-permanent tattoo process results in fuller and more defined eyebrows.

Does it hurt?

Numbing cream is applied to lessen the discomfort. There may be some pain associated with microblading however, but the pain has been reported to be not like a traditional tattoo. Pain associated with the tattoo application also depends on an individual’s tolerance for pain.

How long will microblading last?

Permanent makeup can potentially last 1-3 years. The time it lasts may be different per individual, as this depends on various factors such as skin type and lifestyle. Maintenance is recommended to keep your brows lasting longer.

How long is the appointment?

The entire appointment can take 2 - 3 hours. Brow shaping and the designing of your eyebrows takes the longest amount of time, as the objective is to find what is best suited for you. The actual microblading part takes about 30 minutes to complete.

Is it safe?

Safety is our number one priority. We take all the necessary precautions to ensure that everything needed to apply your permanent makeup properly and safely is clean and sanitized correctly.

Do I have to have a touch-up session?

A touch-up session is highly recommended. Everyone heals differently and a touch up allows us to fill in areas that may not have picked up color in the first session. Your touch-up session is to ensure your brows look as close to perfect as possible and to retain the color for the whole year.
